• Take 5 - Day 1

  Primary 6 had a super Take 5 day today. They covered all five areas:
  P6 had a great first Take 5 day.
  
  Give – all of the children kindly gave donations to the Foodbank and wrote compliments to others.
  
  Connect – linking with their persuasive writing they had some very competitive debating!
  
  Active – they all toook part in our Daily Mile
  
  Keep learning – they all completed a symmetry investigation
  
  Take notice – finally they all did some mindful colouring

• Bible Presentation

  A huge thank you to Robert Armstrong who presented Gideon Bibles to our Primary 7 pupils. A number are msssing from the photo as they were attending their Post Primary Induction.

  

• Sports Day

  We had a super day at our annual Sports Day, the sun shone and the children all enjoyed the morning. 

  

• Rainey Endowed Visit

  On Thursday, we had the please of welcoming Mr McCullough, Principal of Rainey Endowed and two of his pupils. They came to Groggan to talk to our Primary 6 pupils about the new SEAG tests. The children also had the opportunity to ask the two boys some questions about 'big' school.

  Thank you to Mr McCullough and the boys for visiting Groggan.

• P1/2 Scarecrow

  Primary 1/2 have finished their scarecrow for the Antrim Garden Show. If you are attending the event, you will see our scarecrow on display in Antrim Castle Grounds from 16-18 June.

  

• NSPCC visit P6 and P7

  As part of our Preventative Curriculum work, P6 and P7 took part in a great workshop with facilitators from NSPCC.
