Thank you for taking the time to visit Groggan Primary School's website and I hope you will gain a flavour of what life is like at Groggan. However, no website or prospectus can truly reflect the warm, friendly, family ethos we have tried to create in our school.
This website aims to inform you about Groggan, we are proud of each and every pupil and strive to ensure they reach their true potential. There is a relaxed and happy environment and the children actively look out for one another. We even have a 'Buddy' system in place to help our new Primary 1 pupils settle into life here at Groggan.
We have well behaved pupils, and this is testament to our Positive Behaviour Policy. All our staff are extremely dedicated and caring and work together as a team, ensuring the children are happy and content.
Community plays a big part in Groggan Primary School, we try to have events when our doors are open and everyone is made welcome. The pupils take part in activities in Randalstown, Ballymena, Antrim and at the Grange.
We strive to help our pupils discover not how clever they are, but how they are clever and to help them use this to their full potential, regardless of ability, through a range of experiences both in and outside school. As an inclusive school, we aim to support those pupils who have been identified as needing extra support, this is done in a number of ways.
Our pupils will tell you how special Groggan Primary School is. Please come and visit us and find out for yourself.
