Today we celebrated the Coronation of Charles III with a day filled with fun and food!
We had an Assembly where P7 told us all about the Coronation and they even had their own King Charles III who was crowned!
We celebrated our King and Queen for the day, who cut the ribbon for our celebrations to begin. Next, we had our Right Royal Parade with everyone showing off their super outfits.
After that, we had a lovely Break and a special Coronation cupcake to follow.
Our lunch today was a Coronation special which we all enjoyed eating together and Mrs H made sure the staff were well looked after too.
After lunch we had another surprise, a visit from Robert the ice cream man!
Finally, P4-7 had a Right Royal Quiz altogether in the Hall.
What a super day!

Today is #WorldDailyMileDay! We had great fun taking part with all of our friends and doing our bit to stay healthy. As a #Take5 school we try to 'Be Active' each day. We are also working together at school with our @SustransNI officer Johnny, to be more active in lots of ways.
Some of our Eco Committee members helped our Deputy Mayor, Councillor Leah Smyth to plant a tree to commemorate the King's Coronation.
We were also presented with special trowels and wildflower seeds.
There was great excitement yesterday when the pupils set off for a Football tournament at Allen Park. The boys played well and behaviour was exemplary. They may not have won any matches but Mr Curry was so very proud of them. Well done to the player of the tournament Mark Bovill.
Our recent Hot Chocolate Award winners who enjoyed their special treat surprise today!
Today two great Primary 4 girls were treated to a very special tea party with Mrs H. The girls were nominated by the Primary 4 staff for showing outstanding kindness to others. We are all so very proud of them for living out our Goldren Rule 'We are Kind' each day.
What an amazing first Scripture Union session! Beth from Asia Link told us all about the country of Laos. We even got to take home some real food from the country.
