  • We had a fabulous day at the Dream Space Ambassador Graduation! The children enjoyed sessions with Minecraft, creating pixel art as well as a challenge with the robot Indi! Not forgetting the yummy pizza for lunch!

  • Our wonderful choir performed at the @ImpactNetworkNI PHA Celebration event today. The children sang three songs for the attendees. Thank you to the staff of the Dunsilly Hotel and @ImpactNetworkNI for looking after the children so well and to Mrs Wilson for all her hard work.

  • Primary 6 had a productive Take 5 day on Friday. Keep Learning - Investigating and answering questions about a Translink timetable. Connect - orienteering with mixed class groups. Give - writing two positive things about our week. Take Notice - Experiencing Boomwhackers. Be Active - Fitness Friday

  • Our P7 star wins in Cavan.

    P7 star Katie, went to the Northern Ireland Festival in Cavan and won two first place rosettes and a best turned out pony award.

  • Grogan Farm Animals

    Today we had a very special visitor in school who very kindly brought his vast selection of animals. He was visiting P1/2 as their WAU topic is 'Down on the Farm', but of course we just had to let the rest of the children visit too.
    Thank you to Scott McMullan for bringing the animals and being so very generous with his time.
     

  • Ballyclare Rugby Blitz.

    Today our Rugby team took part in a Blitz at Ballyclare Rugby Club. The team in their new kits sponsored partly by Provizio played four games, they won one drew one and lost two. This was their first ever Groggan Primary School Rugby outing and they played their hearts out. Thank you to Dr. Humphrey for coaching the team and for coming along today.

  • Our Primary 5 chef has been creating more delicious treat from his Reading Book with Mrs Brown. Today he was creating 'Fruity Kebabs' and they went down a treat with his friends. (If you have any parties, weddings or celebrations in the pipeline, I am sure he will give you a great deal!)

  • P5 chef in action!

    One of Primary 5 pupils was very excited to make a recipe from his Reading Book with Mrs Brown and share the creations with some of his friends. The recipe was for Morning Munch and it was a bit of a hit and a miss with the children! Jamie Oliver better watch out!
