• Digital Leaders

  Our Digital Leaders met to day to discuss Safer Internet Day coming on February 8th. We will be working on a competition and a quiz to promote Online Safety. 

  

• Did you know the collection noun for a group of snowmen is a 'melt'? So here are our Primary 3/4 pupils with a melt of super snowmen!

• Poor old Santa wasn't allowed to come and visit us in person this year. Primary 1/2 were delighted when he made an online appearance this morning. He listened to all of their Christmas lists and declared that they were all on the 'Nice' list even the staff! Thank you Santa, we know you are very busy this time of year.

  Well done to this P2/3 star who showed such kindness this week in class. One of our Golden Rules is, 'We are kind',  so of course a special prize was called for!

  Primary 5/6 enjoyed their Christmas Dinner and our Santa Mile. Thank you to Mrs Bell for providing treats for all of our younger pupils and the popular Raffle prize for P5-7.

  

• AQE - we're ready for you!

  Some of our Primary 7 AQE gems all ready for the first AQE test tomorrow. They have worked so very hard, and we are all cheering them on!

  

• Writing

  The teaching staff were recently trained in a new Writing scheme. We are so excited with how the children are responding to the lessons. Primary 1/2 have been working on Explanation Writing and have produced some great work so far. 

  

• World Kindness Day

  P3/4 made each other pictures with positive descriptive adjectives. They thought carefully about which adjectives would best describe their friends and everyone said it made them feel ‘happy’ to read these. They also nominated each other for acts of kindness.
