Shared Education
Our Shared Education partnership with Millquarter Primary School is now in its third year and is growing from strength to strength. This year, all of the classes will have a chance to take part in shared lessons with the pupils from Millquarter.
To date the staff have had a chance to train together in August with HIP Performance on Mental Health and Wellbeing.
Both schools are working this year towards gaining their Mental Health Award.
Primary 1 pupils from each school and Taylorstown Community Playgroup, watched a performance at Millquarter by Mr Hullabaloo, this is an annual event which takes place alternatively in each school.
Primary 5/6 were evacuated to the coast and had a super day at 'The School at the Sea' experiencing life in World War 2.
We have formed a joint choir, who had their first practice together recently and are performing at the Grange village Christmas Lights switch on.
Our P2/3 pupils have been invited to Millquarter to watch their Christmas Nativity and we hope to host them next year.
We have a lot more exciting activities planned for Terms 2 and 3...
