Keep up-to-date with all the latest news happening in our school.
Today we had a very special visitor in school who very kindly brought his vast selection of animals. He was visiting P1/2 as their WAU topic is 'Down on the Farm', but of course we just had to let the rest of the children visit too.
Thank you to Scott McMullan for bringing the animals and being so very generous with his time.
Today our Rugby team took part in a Blitz at Ballyclare Rugby Club. The team in their new kits sponsored partly by Provizio played four games, they won one drew one and lost two. This was their first ever Groggan Primary School Rugby outing and they played their hearts out. Thank you to Dr. Humphrey for coaching the team and for coming along today.
One of Primary 5 pupils was very excited to make a recipe from his Reading Book with Mrs Brown and share the creations with some of his friends. The recipe was for Morning Munch and it was a bit of a hit and a miss with the children! Jamie Oliver better watch out!
Max Coding & VR this afternoon with Chris - great fun with the VR headsets!
So very proud of this team who won the Ballymena Primary Schools Football Association 5-aside tournament today at Antrim Forum. Mrs Hunter and Mrs Morren kindly accompanied them and said they played brilliantly.
We’ll have some celebration tomorrow!
Our footballers took part in a tournament at Allen Park. They played three matches and won all three!
