P2/3
We have been so busy in P2/3, Valentine's Day craft, Outdoor Learning, Tricky Words and so much more!
Primary 2/3 took Assembly today and told us all about Polar animals and cold lands. They explained how we need to look after our world before it is too late and even performed their own song.

September 2023
We have had a busy first month back in class, welcoming Izzy to the P3s. Our first topic is “Once upon a Time” which incorporates our writing genre of “Narrative” extremely well. 
We were delighted when Brian from Forest Schools NI got in touch to say we had been successful in our application. Miss Cairns and P2/3 had two amazing sessions outdoors where they made dens, drunk warm orange juice, made pictures with natural items and took part in a camouflage string game. We are very grateful to Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council who are funding the programme. We will be working hard to get our Forest School accreditation.

Maths Week
The P3s welcomed some Primary Two children but also two new P3s into our class.
This term our topic is Once Upon A Time. We are using different Fairy Tales to learn different messages.
In maths we were measuring length and collecting data to make pictograms
In Play we have a healthy shop where we can be both customers and shopkeepers. We are making some clay pots as we are going to grow some beanstalks like Jack.
Take Five : we wore yellow and completed lots of fun activities. We planted daffodils which will come out in Spring, Sensory Kids were in and we had great fun getting messy.
